The SBDC Project in Argentina is funded by the Embassy of the United States in Buenos Aires and is executed by the University of Texas at San Antonio in partnership with Ministry of Economic Development of the City of Buenos Aires. The project will start in December 2014 with the SBDC Stakeholder Consultation meeting that aims at gaining support and awareness of the SBDC model in the City. After the consultation meeting, UTSA will conduct the Certificate Training Program for Future SBDC Counselors and Directors with the goal of transferring the SBDC methodology and guiding professionals through the development of the operational and strategic plans of their future centers. In addition, UTSA will assist the government in successfully adapting and adopting the model to the local context.
